Born in Chile in the early 1980s, Matt Johnston matured as an artist in New England, with formative years in Connecticut and now residing in Rhode Island. As the driving force of the Film & Fire brand, Matt excels in both fine art photography and exquisite glass craftsmanship, with each piece reflecting his dedication and ardor.
A self-taught photographer, Matt's commitment and innate talent shine through. His remarkable double win – 1st and 3rd places in the South County Tourism Council Annual Photo Contest – underlines the resonance and appeal of his work.
Matt's compelling works have charmed art enthusiasts, earning him features in esteemed art galleries in Wickford and Newport, Rhode Island. His creations grace various prestigious venues, from upscale establishments to distinguished art galleries.
